Kurie’s oil paintings celebrate the beauty of natural light in spacious rooms and convey a sense of quietude and calm. She writes: “In this noisy world, I think it’s important to experience the solitude that silent spaces and quiet places provide us. They help connect us to ourselves and allow us to hear our own quiet, still, voice within."
I am interested in creating paintings that convey a sense of serenity, clarity, and quiet strength; I choose simple, uncluttered compositions and, to this end, my work reflects a minimalist esthetic. I also use a limited color palette. Gallery Representation:
